The Birth of a Vision

The Events that leaded me to Ancient Avaris were fortuite, strong and immediate.

Sometimes just a piece of unterraformed land with a river can make you feel at Home even if there are still thousands of prims to build.... but visions strike unexpected.

So it came that months ago a wonderful person named Jesika leaded me to the Nile, a communion of mutual ideas, visions, personal knowledge and lifestyle leaded us to join forces: Me, by my builder hand and her and the Setite Clan with the ability to make it live and pulse.

Buildining the Nile was a struggle, stealing time from other obligations I have in Second Life, but the patience of the Clan was infinite and they waited for Me to find time and continue completing the Vision. Now I can say that the most is done even if, by My eyes and opinion, still a lot is missing.

The Nile will keep getting built and enriched, the Nile will keep evolving, but by now I can welcome you to our Vision of an Eclectic greco-roman decaying Ancient Egypt period encountering Vampire the Masquerade... where sand speaks, bugs caress and the flowing of the Nile is life, as the flowing of blood for the Setite Clan,

Yes, this time I made it double… Two Treasure Hunts running at Selidor, each special and separate, but with one thing in common: both feature two new tattoos as prize for hunters. What's the News?

2011 Just started and I can't help than having a good vibe over it, for many SL related matters as personal ones. So, what's the News? Well the first one is that this year's first official creation is a Tribute to Gustave Doré, which you can get free in the "What's the News" Hunt. If you want to know more about this artist of which I am very fond of, check here the wiki general information, worth it. The tattoo layer is a theme I wished from long to create, the ability to add to avatars the hand drawn, painted or carved effect, now with the new tattoo layer is possible to work over the whole body so made my first try. Also added a few framed artworks by Dorè, hope you enjoy it.

My Plans

I've been scribbling and planning over my agenda as I usually do, to set priorities over projects.It keeps always light and open to modifications, but basically I follow it during the year. In those past months I was much concerned with the overall progress of SL, marketing issues and many longterm completions of lines as the gods of Warfare. New great ways to improve avatar genetics presented themselves with v2 options as the tattoo and alpha layers, giving a huge way to improve skin making in second life. So for now on, except finalizing the New Goddesses very soon, will focus on ways to integrate the new layers with skins, old tattoos and body enchancements. Being able to have an additional layer over the head template is simply a whole new world, but finding useful ways to approach it will take me some time to test possibilities, I guess time will tell which are the best solutions. For now I can tell you I have many new lines on my flesh carving table shaking in chains for freedom to incarnate, hoping you will like their ways to be. To end I want to thank all of you for your wonderful support in all this years, but expecially in this taugh past one, your support is mainly one of the things that keeps me going on when SL becomes uncertain. Let's have an amazingly meshes and simlish 2011 together, I see you in our mad world,

The Hermit

I've been trying with all my effort to take a 3 days vacation, after a snow storm hit any possible road, highway, scattered sliding trucks, crashed cars everywhere, no way to control cars, 4 hours untill I managed to turn the car and get back home...was basically an interesting adventure (hell), so I decided to take a vacation at home literally, warm and cozy, with my brand new copy of Fable 3 Collector's Edition and switch off the brain for this weekend at home, since seems nature made impossible for me to not leave...there's a reason for all, I tell you!
