The biggest change this year is that we will have two line of Major Prize winners: Popular Votes and Jury, but there are more changes in rules and prizes and who wins and who doesn't, on voting and not voting, on what to wear and what NOT to wear, on cocktails and Emo Legolas emoticons.

► Create a picture of your SL self, this is the way people will be able to vote you.
Your image will be your presentation card, it will summary all what you want to say so I suggest you take time to choose or to create one that really satisfies and represents you. The artistic value itself of the image and its originality will be for sure something that will help you getting noticed by the voters and jury.
► You need to wear a Fallen Gods Inc. skin. All the rest: location, outfit, etc. is by your choice. It’s the only requirement, since without it the competition itself has no sense.
► There shall be only one avatar in the image, creative exceptions might be considered, but the image has to feature only one contestant (mirrors, projections are fine but might be discussed).
► Petites are part of the Fallens, as long they are Fallen Edition Petites.
► You can participate with just one of your avatars on just one of the gender walls.
► All pics (SL texture files) shall be sent to my smoking hot EX secretary Elizabeth Tinsley
► Pictures will be accepted until Friday, October 17, 2014

Prototypes: Research & Development

The human race: complex emotional nature and delicate biological composition, but Prototypes? More and more citizens adopted them as companions and social relatives, many works, professions and even some incarnations became proper since the first Oscar and Anna models were released. With the amount of work and maintainance I hardly could spare a moment to focus on the true and real matters of my crafts, so I seeked help.
So I created Help.

The second proto/stereo/types belong to the Research & Development category, Marie Rouille and Nikola Hrdja, both personal tributes to incredible scientist that shared their genius with us in the past.
I hope you'll find them resourceful and brilliant, and succesful in their delicate position as seconds of the family.

A Fallen Clockwork

I almost got used to the noise of their limbs moving in those innatural, yet fast and fluid motions. Almost...
Time ago when the pile of rust was laying on the floor of my lab, was just that: an immote mass of materia which waited for better use, and the better use was giving soul to matter. The Clockworks absorbed selidorian orb generated power and moved the constructs, which I was simply assembling as mannequins. They were the first, they were my friends: Anna and Oscar.

The first proto/stero/types, that could make even Hans Voralberg envious, are now available to incarnate at the Clockwork Spiral. As complete avatars, or separates, they await your touch to move.

Clean

The silence and quiet of moving grass slowly, notes of breeze in the summer afternoon and palms...rooting sands to not fade into the Selidor bay. A slow and moderate change of giving up, not to inner creativity and sharing but to the pressure of events and deadlines. With the beloved FF one past me now I await only the 7th sin: a seventh anniversary already too close. Where did the time go? Flooded with thoughts and emotions of a long journey, inside and outside, of living in the extremes, of giving up, of chosen discomfort to toughen my scales, I embrace this year of rebirth as a shining opportunity for not to be a new beginning, rather a mindful and aware continuation of what was, is and will be. So the summer is here again, my second in this 2014, and I like the smell of air, the taste of sea salt and feel of bleeding hands working the dirt. I like the open horizon of ideas and things to do, because the plate is soon to be clean and I will be free to enslave myself again into the ocean of art.
I'll be here.

Faire, what else?

It's the last day of the Faire (so not true, still open tomorrow, on monday!), and I am not even sure it yet started. Every year it flies, every year I wonder how we manage to make it and yet.... we do. What's next and what's left then? Live Auction (4-6pm SLT, Palace of Tears), Closing party and....tomorrow's madness, come along, there will be bus rides. I'ts time to get that piece of rust out of the swamp.

Keep calm and... retire.

There is a major rework plan of all of my creations that I have in mind been years, but the hard part was always: how to start.
As many know I am some sort of skinmaking veteran, meaning that most of my skins were made when tattoo layers weren't available in SL (and some skins were made when there wasn't yet windlight). With this not new anymore wonderful tool I am now able to rework and offer most of my skins in a different format, so I am starting from foam. The old editions are available still for a month on retirement sale 50% off untill the 14 of april and Foam body styling tattoo layers at Genre are on release half price at the event untill the 14 of april also.
I know, was time.

What should you expect in this future months from me?
- More retirement sales, see it as spring cleaning, at least untill Fantasy Faire (May 1-11). 
- New ways to offer skin designs and body enchancements.

Applying Frost: The Attachment Physics

As the deep winter freezes our souls  we wait for the first rays of sun to warm us and bring us to life. But what if we could sleep in the ice, breath little crystals and smell the scent of ancient frozen caves where sun never melts the eternal Frosts? What if the only way to survive the atrocious and painful cold of a seemingly never ending winter would be becoming winter itself? Frosted lips and fingers, silent footstep on ice…. Materica's forgotten child is back.

Best Wishes under the Tree

Dear Fallens,
As every year  Christmas rings its bells long before it’s even on the horizon. We wait, almost annoyed by all the hype, but then when we face it there’s always a feeling of not wanting to miss it, of having it slip trough your fingers too fast.
Well… this all doesn’t really work for me this year… all it’s summer here, am having the 24th dinner in a jailhouse (arrested for whalestalking)… almost all of my friends and family are on the other side of the world and 12 hours behind me …so well…I’ll peel potatoes tomorrow for a charity mission and go get drunk after.

I also have to postpone the release of the Goth Marquis since I cannot get the textures done. Please stay tuned for any news about it. For what concerns gifts under the tree though, I have the most amazing of friends that filled the Fallen tree with a huge base of wonderful heartfelt trees and wishes. Since I didn’t had time to finish my new gift, I will put lots of various retired freebies and gifts in my wishes hoping you’ll forgive my erratic presence and inability to comply well deadlines.
