The Faire is dead. Long live the Faire.

I am unsure where to start...but I know how it ended. I got: burnt alive by dragons, drowned in a kid's pool , stabbed by scissors, assaulted by a koala with a cannon, piled up by 8 avatars, some pretty heavy, sold My naked chest for donation sake, got slapped by fish and forced to a shotgun marriage to a tiny black cat. But in general... I had the best time ever. Thank you Fantasy Faire, thank you friends, thanks to all of you that made that event beautiful for eyes, spirit and soul.

I am in no way affiliated with Xavian, my archenemy, but I use his drums because so I can get to the motel all the groupies. We are a misterious band, dedicated only to tiny perdition and to insert the bug of fun into unaware passengers. Our exclusive shows are secret and our rave parties are comunicated through drunk seagull/pigeon messengers. If you are lucky to attend one of our shows it's because the seagulls were not drunk enaugh.

Relay for Life

There’s always this sad feeling when we go on vacation that when we cross the first half of it, we are closer to its end so we start feeling sad. With Fantasy Faire might arise a similar emotion, closer to its end than to its start. Being an event that lasts only 8 days we shall get rid of this feeling because every day is full of possibilities and another goal for all of us to show how we Relay. Fugitive, but intense, there’s still plenty to do, to see, to experience; many people to meet and befriend, many creations to admire, stores and sims to visit, and events to participate; have fun and relay together remembering that together with all the fantastic approach of the Fantasy Faire the reason to do it all is because we Relay, well, for Life. For many of us that started worked on this event months ago, the Faire ends the moment it starts officially because all what is done is now ready to live on its own and many of us already follow it with a melancholic trait of awareness this year’s Faire is done….. so how to actually enjoy the Faire till the last days? By remembering how Life itself is made, the moment we are born we are destined to die, but are we going to pass our whole existence waiting for death, or enjoy it and give to it a meaning as best we can? This is up to you. I am not american but I have My reasons to Relay, am sure you will find yours when defeating fear which is the only real death of the soul.

The Fantasy Faire 2012, to benefit Relay for Life and the American Cancer society, is a week of wonders. Starting April 21 and ending April 29 showcases the wonderful variety of SL creativity through products, sims and social spirit. I am honoured to be a part of it also this year and the time dedicated to bring the Tides to its birth was one of the most well spent in My Second Life, as it happens every year with Fantasy Faire. When Marx asked me about filming a music spot at Annon I had no idea it will result in such a cool result. The band's music is really great, so glad to be in it. Thanks Marx and Beyond Violet.

The Petites Boo-Boo Clinic is now open but the doctors are flustered and don't know what to do! The poor little Petites are ailing and the doctors aren't sure how to fix them. Maybe you can help us! We are looking for pictures of your Petite Boo-Boos to help educated our doctors in the care and nursing of Petites.

To enter our Petites Boo-Boo Clinic Contest here is what you need to do:

1. Take a picture of a Petite with an injury (technical issue with Petite Mesh Avatar). This could include, but not be limited to, eye issues, stretched body parts and missing limbs. Be creative and have fun but remember to make copied of all your Petite avatar parts before trying to break yourself.

2. Create a name for and description of you injury.

3. Describe how to fix your injury.

4. Take all this information and place it on a notecard. Title the notecard Petites Boo-Boo Contest [your name].

5. Drop your notecard in the Orange flower at the Petite Avatar Kingdom.

6. The Petites Boo-Boo Clinic Contest will run from March 13 - 27 @ midnight SLT.

7. You are welcome to use photoshop on your pictures; however, this is not a photoshop contest. It is about your creativity in coming up with and documenting an injury that affects Petites.

8. Prizes will be awarded for the best Petite injury submissions as judged by our select panel of doctors. Prizes will include your choice of one Petite Avatar by any creator. Also all participating will receive a special gift just for entering.

Please remember this Contest is all in fun. It's intent is to help educate people about the types of Petite Boo-Boos there are and how to fix them. It is not our intention to make fun of anyone with real life medical issues.

Petites, male.

Male Petite Elves released, and they have a New Kingdom too. We rebuilt it with a more spacious area and petite friendly sized, with a chilling area and clear layout, we hope you'll enjoy. I also wish to thank deeply here Elizabeth, Sharni and Marcus for their essential help and managing to make the reopening and male release smooth, fun and busy this weekend. Yabu unfortunately couldn't make it for the opening, but he was with us anyway the whole time as we watch his little creatures. I got a lot of questions lately concerning my creations, some having the impression I am not doing anymore skins, or builds, or what I always did in those 4 years and more, well fact is the petites did keep me busy, not only being something I have to follow constantly in its development but also as a new challenge on texturing, not allowing me to use the work I already did but having to recreate all skins from 0, not to mention the Kingdom reopening and collaborative efforts the whole petite idea requires. Being in a team work finally is something great and refreshing for a lot of us labrats, but also takes time off from the creation time itself.

Also, as a few of you know already, I tend to work constantly on multiple projects to keep my creative interest alive; if I focus too much on one type of creation only I feel stagnant and stuck.

Soon there will be our yearly Fantasy Faire too so am preparing many things for it together with the build of the Tides sim for the Faire and a new release, and joining this... some very long term creations that are builds and furniture I never rush over, skinlines, tattoos, all in My pocket waiting that sparkle of attention to make them breath and alive.

I hope you'll enjoy what's next and to not disappoint you, till then.... enjoy a smaller world,
