Fallen God and Fallen Goddess 2009 Election days.

To the Kind attention of Fallens.

The end of the arcaic year is near and the Temple prepares for the third year of Life. To honor your support in those two years I will hold a competition that will be won by who best incarnates the Vision of Fallen Gods through his/her eyes: The Election of 2009 Fallen God and Goddess.

Everyone is invited to participate, being you an old Fallen or brand new, and the requisites are very simple and will work in the following way, please give it a reading.

- You will need a snapshot of yourself, this is the way people will be able to vote you. Your image will be your presentation card, it will summary all what you want to say so I suggest you take time to choose or to create one that really satisfies and represents you. The artistic value itself of the image and it’s originality will be for sure something that will help you getting noticed by the voters.

- You need to wear one of My skins. All the rest: location, outfit, etc. is by your choice. It’s the only big rule, since without it the competition itself has no sense.

- There must be only one avatar in the image, yourself, otherwise it can get confusing. And it shall be only one pic.

- You will deliver to Me, Alia Baroque, a full permission texture with your name as title preceeded by the prefix FGI09 (example: FGI09 John Doe). I will not exclude on prior who mistakes that, but I might not find your texture and so miss to place you in the voting. Also the ratio shall be that of a standard snapshot and monitor size, vertical and square cuts will have your image deformed.

- I will accept your images untill Tuesday, October 13, 2009.

- On Wednesday 14 I will place out the panels with your pictures, the system will be a single click vote by avatar, so the Jury will be all SL that comes to Selidor. The voting will last untill the DAY BEFORE the Second Anniversary Celebration, which will probably take place on October 24, this has to be confirmed. In this occasion the winners will be announced and praised properly.

- The maximum number of participants by gender is 30, so if it exceeds that number I will make a preliminary selection based mostly on the picture aesthetics and interesting look.

- Very Important: Please. Do not contact Me about anything concerning this matter in IM or by note. I will have a very busy time untill the Anniversary and you really do not want Me to be late with the new releases (laughs). If you fear I did not receive your texture, drop it again, I will not mind at all. (well, if you drop it 100 times I could mind). Anything else that will be needed to know will come by Group notice.

New Releases require HIGH Breeding

It's time to warm up slowly, Fallens. The end of the Second Year is near, and time will lead Us to celebrate, slowly...

Rainy days stealing the sun.

And I hope just for a few days, because I am not yet ready to give up on summer. You might think I have to accept is september, but untill the water is less than 15° I will make as I am on the caribbean. Sea, coconut balls and sails. But when it rains, and when the sun hides (which lately is routine) I am up on a few big things. I can officially say right now that for the second anniversary of Fallen Gods am preparing something, and in addition the release of a brand new line of skins for those who unfortunately do not belong to clean blood...
Here's a small preview of the male, but is still a work in progress so I might change a lot of things as I did after the first preview of the elves last year. This also means that untill the anniversary comes I will be very busy working on all the new stuff and probably not really a social type, so an apologize in advance if you might think I am just a ghost constantly in busy mode.

The Adventures of the Cursed Ghost Eggplant

You might notice I was quite absent in the last two weeks and the reason is I went to visit Rouge and MissAllSunday... the fact it took two weeks it's simply due to the reason they live in Shangai since a while... I just jumped there for a quick coffee! Anyway, we had a great time wandering around the very lively and messy Shangai for a few then went together to visit Beijing, a wonderful trip and vacation. Was My 6th time in Asia but first time in China (if you consider Taiwan is not China), and this People's Republic charms you in many ways. Was too short, leaving was a sort of coitus interruptus so probably will get back bothering them soon... and eating fried rice and fried noodles... to not mention alll the stuff I was able to eat as not having an end in my stomach. My best result in chinese language was at the end the ability to curse ghost eggplants and ask for a toilet, all very useful words. I am back, wish was still there.

About the ripping, Linden took off the stolen material and am very happy the system works and grateful for their good job.

Ripped again

People seems don't have any selfesteem and conscience. Or maybe just a lack of knowledge? I just sent a DMCA fax. Will not tell here the name of the brand, because I want Lindens to take off the content from the grid before the creator. I will not make drama, will not contact this people in IM, will not bother the group. But want to make it clear: I think really evil things about who steals my work, and you really shall consider yourself a sub-human for acting like this, not nearly a "Fallen God".

I do NOT use any business pack and resource for my skins. I paint completely skins, there are no ways someone can have a base as my skins and textures, at least can use similar brushes or same free stock photography for reference or texture grain.


And if it would not be so damn irritating, it would be almost hilarious, look at the shop stall in the same market where I am too:

DHARMA Station: The Temple

Lately, while continuing to clear the Temple undergrounds, and placing some paws I stumbled across a wall that appeared too much new in my eyes, was already collapsing so I broke it and found a door. Took Me a while to understand the acess code but made it to enter. Inside I found strange things, which I am still figuring out what they are meant for. The only thing I know is that a certain Dharma Initiative came to Selidor before I did, a year ago, and surely after the original inhabitants since their modern design. Also a few useful outfits are to be found there, even if not so stylish, who knows you might need it for some gardening on your sim... The logos I saw there also inspired me for a few shirts, that can be found in the temple clothing area, second level, entrance wall. Help me understand that thing, and... I noticed a strange black smoke worm roaming lately around Selidor... someone is smoking too much lately here.

Many thanks for answering the poll, it gave a clear answer to what you might expect. I will place on sale soon the Fleurs series with more skin options and a more complete outfit too, promise will not take much.
Also another line that soon I will release some more incarnations of the New Gods, cannot say much except await there will be a lot of scars and freckles... anf maybe a return of the rainbow. The Elemental Full Moon Event will probably skip a few months, since I prayed them to have piety and let Me end what I have in mind for them.

I hate winter.

...unless I am on alps skiing, sleeping on a white fur near a fireplace (Bond style) and drinking jagger-tee. Thus, a touch of freshness with completely new skins.
FLEURS, available as gift in the Lucky Fortune teller, base is the work I started 5 months ago, wanting to enrich and, in my opinion, develop Fallen Gods human skins. This is what will soon come in 6 , maybe more, tones for each gender with the usual choice of 12-15 makeups. Wish me good luck, a lot of inspiration, time available and no distractions (which lately are quite high, it's spring..hormons, such...)

Celebrations, Holidays, Hunts, Gifts, Special things.

Let's start with Christmas... then: Valentine, Carnival, St.Patricks, Easter, Halloween...
I must be one of the few, but I am a bit sick of this all RL and SL. I love the celebrations when limited to the day or few days near it, but seems the moment one ends, the other starts as marketing, merchandizing, events... lately I felt I shall also add something each celebration as most do, but simply I feel it as a sort of slavery. Making something interesting, different is hard, and there's not too much to invent, and even if you do you are submerged by thousands of hunts, freebies of whatever quality and style. I am not against, far from that. I love any good reason to make a party, I just decided I will not feel obliged anymore to make a celebration gift for each one that comes. I have a lot of ideas for small events, gifts etc. that have to wait because, as example, I shall do something green with lucky charms and Four leaf thingies. Now again... I luuuv St.Patrick, and expecially Guiness..(HAHHAHAH, Thanks Goodness My Guiness!), but it's just not for me having to jump from festivity to festivity.... there are a lot of more things to do! So I apologize in advance if you don't receive something from me that is themed on the momentary celebration, and will be probably weird and related to some sort of other thing that I think is more adapt for the period.
I will get back again with a full stop and change of direction to my usual way of doing things, at least in that matter.
Some news are that I am working hard a lot of months already on the new human skins which will soon take the ground floor walls of the main temple, and send higher the old Gods. Soon will be more armours and weapons released too, and most important of all.... my favourite festivity will soon come: The Elemental's Full Moon ;)

What a trip....

Had a "quick" tp (20 hours of plane each direction..) to Seoul and San Francisco in those last weeks, and really enjoyed it ;)

Even more Weirdness

Had that idea in my head a few weeks, almost thought of new skins, but agreed at the end that the tatto solution can be nicer and give more customization possibilities. Hope you enjoy. Also to test it with your skin I placed some free gloves as demos under the panels.

Rebirth Tattoo, glowing eyes and Aear

I'll be honest, I adore adding customisation details for the Elementals, each thing is like giving an option more to be unique and yourself, but different. There are a lot of other things concerning this series of creations in progress, and slowly I can release them. The major products anyway will take more time, as new skins and armours. Wish me a day of 96 hours ;)

About other matters, I took a new openspace called Aear, the smaller ones of 750 prims and ended in building somekind of lighthouse, in the most original term of the word, bringer of light. When first building Selidor I wanted to have a similar building in the NW corner of the island, or on one of the big rocks at the bay entrance, but then decided to leave more space, air. Still... this image of the particular building and location haunted me, so it has to be done. I think I'll locate a special puzzle on Aear, "Myst" inspired (as the building is at the end), but need to think of something nice *grins*. I remember playing Myst long time ago, my Dad actually bought it. Remember it was considered one of the best graphical games ever, a peak of that genre, and still remains an example.I think I was 13 or something, conditioned my creativity and imagination badly. Today when I think of that Game series I can only think of relax, peace and mistery, elements I wish I can bring in my Second Life world and environments.

Another thing haunting me from long is the creation of a RP sim, thinking a lot if it's worth the time and effort, I sense it can became draining and would take a lot of time off from my creations, but still... the idea of creating a completely functional environment for interaction and background to other players to enjoy and live is exciting. Damn exciting. Oh well, I'll figure out when, how and if I'll do it ;)

Anyway, hope all is going well with you, and if not..be sure sooner or later it will turn to bright, has to!
